I love spies.  It could because I used to be one myself in a round-about way.  Whatever the reason I like movies about spies and spy-craft and good versus evil, etc. etc.  So I welcomed the return of the original series Burn Notice (season two) on Thursday nights on the USA Network.

The title of the series refers to the burn notices issued by intelligence agencies to discredit or otherwise discard of agents or sources have become unreliable, or at least it is thought they might be. The USA Network series is a first-person narrative (including voice-overs dropping little gems of spy-crafts...

The story lines are fast paced and not knock-offs of other shows. There is a nice blend of action and humor. However, the shows real strength is the interaction among the main characters. Each character has great depth and every episode shows another layer of that depth. Sam is the interesting drunk who appears to have no moral center but comes through for Michael. Michael is amazing in his center core values that he comes back to in every episode. He is one of the good guys in this strange word of mostly those whose soul is for sale to the highest bidder. Fiona is one of the best characters on... review »

I found Burn Notice flipping thru the channels, he caught my eye at first then as I was watching I liked the story. Sharon Gless is good on there too.

The exgirlfriend is ok I just dont think its pratical for her to be wearing dresses when you never know when you are going to have to run. But I think any of those CSI's the women are over dressed. I know you have to look nice but pratical.

This is one of the best new show in a long time. I watch it with my teenage sons and we all enjoy it. Action,Drama, comedy, mystery, expolsions and rarely anything that would embarrass any of us. Wonderful characters... great setting... new feel miami vice except not a cop show

from the burn notice site... USA network.. thursday 10 pm

When spies get fired, they don't get a letter from human resources.

They get BURNED...

The action/spy genre gets a refreshing update with USA Network's newest original series, Burn Notice. Jeffrey Donovan stars as Michael Westen, an international spy who suddenly finds...

This is another one of the shows that came out and I thought to myself I wouldn't like it and quite honestly, it looked boring to me.  But, man is it not boring.  I like the premise of the show.  He's a very intriguing man, good looking and with a good sense of humor.  The stories are good and I find myself fascinated by the whole "spy world" theme.

Ok as a girly girl who would much rather be watching cute comedies, touching drama's or anything with tons of romance I was so not looking forward to enduring this show for my husband. I thought it would be yet another show that is all action and blowing crap up and just really manly and not my thing. I can honestly say this is one of my favorite shows!! I am running to the sofa every Thursday night at 9:55 turning on USA and waiting the 5 minutes just to see Michael, Jeffrey Donovan, has in store for him this week. I was so very excited to see that it was picked up again this year. I am hoping... review »

Excellent writing, great acting, AND Bruce Campbell.  What more could you ask for?  Oh, yeah!  Gabrielle Anwar and Jeffrey Donovan.  I hope this lasts for a good long time!  I love the "lessons" imparted in each episode and the humor is fantastic!
