The Breast Cancer Site

You can help provide mammograms to women in need and it does not cost you any money what so ever. All you have to do is visit The Breast Cancer Site daily and click the pink "Click Here to Give - It's FREE" button. The mammograms are paid by the site's sponsors and distributed by the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Now, if you would like to contribute more, you can make a purchase on The Breast Cancer Site Store. The store offers pink ribbon jewelry, apparel, bags, stuff for your home, inspirational items, etc. Every purchase you make funds mammograms for women in need.

Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women. It is the leading cause of death in women between the ages of 40 and 55. The National Breast Cancer Foundation estimates each year over 200,000 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed and over 40,000 patients will die. Early detection is the key to survival and better treatment. Mammography is among the best-known methods of early detection. However, 13 million women in the United States over 40 have never had a mammogram.

The Breast Cancer Site will donate $10,000 to help fund research for a cure in April if the clicks total 200 mammograms. As of today, only 10% has been clicked. It only takes a minute to click the button. You can even sign up for a FREE daily email reminder. Another way you can help is post a link to The Breast Cancer Site on your website, blog, and/or email signature.

There are five other charities like this one that offers FREE daily clicks. You don't even have to go to a different website. Just click the different tabs on The Breast Cancer Site for Animal Rescue, Child Health, Hunger, Literacy, and Rainforest. I click on all of these charities every single day!!

Please help spread the word on these charities! I give it 5 Stars!

I get my daily reminder from the Hunger Site. I click on them all including this one when I'm there. A little from many adds up to a big help! Nice review!

The college I used to work at had an adult literacy program. We had a lot of adults in their 20s, 40s, 50s sign-up for the program. I can't imagine not being able to read. It is never to late to learn.

I signed on to all five (or six) when I last visited the site. I'm also really glad to support literacy. I know a young lady (22) who's in the Teach for America program and is teaching 8th-graders to read! Impossible to imagine what life is like for some people.

Since you did your review on Animal Rescue Site I have been clicking on all of them too. I agree there's no reason why everyone shouldn't do it everyday. It's FREE and so easy. Thank you for reading and sending a comment!

Thanks! Each year I give $ to several animal and health charities. This is a great site to help out each day not just yearly. Thank you for reading and sending a comment! ;-)

Nice review Krista! I have been clicking on all of the tabs for over a year now. It is so easy and free, so there's no reason why everyone shouldn't do it.

Will do. I'm already on the Animal Rescue beat, and you're right. It really doesn't take long at all to give a little help. Thanks for this new (to me) tip!

Thanks for reading. I did see your comment on my blog. I wish I could do more for causes like breast cancer, animal issues, etc.... but money is tight since I went on disability. I'll do all I can and this is a great way for everybody to contribute. It doesn't take much time. Thanks again!

jasyjen wrote on Apr 6, 2009 at 12:48PM

I left a comment on your blog about how important I think this is. I'm glad to see you spreading the word! ;-)

I'm getting my first mammo this year as something to compare when I get a mammo when I turn 40. Thank the heaven above no one in my family has had breast cancer. Thank you for reading and sending me a comment! Have a great day tomorrow! :-)

GigiandAdonai wrote on Apr 5, 2009 at 7:22PM

This was a really good review. I remember having my first mammogram at a younger than usual age b/c my mother had several sisters die of breast cancer. Oh I hated that procedure but it can save a life. Now every year when I get those emails about mammograms with funny cartoons I understand the sincerity of the procedure and plea for the American woman to do the right thing.
