Most HelpfulJason Bourne is coming home, despite the efforts of the CIA, which manages to stretch the limits of believability at both ends of the spectrum in the third installment of this trilogy. The bad guys are incredibly efficient with their omnipresent surveillance, unlimited resources, and perfect contingency...
read full review »I left the theater an hour ago, and my heart is still racing. I have never been to a movie that had such non-stop action, real heart-pounding, armrest-gripping, jaw-dropping, adrenaline-rushing action and suspense. This movie was GREAT ! Fans of the tv series "24" will recognize the feeling, but not the severity of enduring it for two hours. WOW ! Matt Damon starts running and never stops, except to kill someone before they can kill him.
The bad guys (David Strathairn, Albert Finney) are really bad, and Damon successfully makes you care about Bourne as he negotiates his...

Bourne is back, and this time he coming home to New York City-eventually. As I stated in my review of The Bourne Supremacy, some action movies can be judged solely on their 'money scenes': those fistfights, car chases, gun battles, and explosions that can make or break a film. Not so with the third and final installment in of Robert Ludlum's suburb spy novels, based on character Jason Borne, The Bourne Ultimatum; it feels more like one long action sequence; from the opening frame to the closing sequence, there is scarce time to take a...
read full review »Familiarity with the American movie going public is a good thing if you want to have a hit. Audience would rather pay $9 or $10 to see something familiar with familiar characters before seeing something truly original. Thankfully, there is the occasional time where familiarity is welcomed. The return of the Jason Bourne character in The Bourne Ultimatum is just one of those times.
For those unfamiliar with the Bourne story, it goes something like this: Jason Bourne was a CIA operative who was left for dead. He survived, but when he woke up, he couldn't remember anything: not his name,...

I would have loved to have been able to concentrate on the extremely complicated plot, but the fact is, I couldn't keep my eyes open long enough to get anywhere. The filming of this movie made me so sick I had to walk out for a few minutes and get a (four dollar!!!!) bottle of water. Such a shame!

I love the Bourne series!!! I waited for this movie. I am sad that this is technically the end of the series although there are more Bourne books. It is the best "gritty" thriller out there. I have read all of Ludlum's books.
PLEASE make more!!!
I love the Bourne movies and am glad the kept Damon as Bourne but the movie left me wanting more backstory on Bourne himself... it had much of the same they try to kill him he can't be stoppped stuff we saw in the last two... not enough about Bourne himself which is what I thought it would be about.... I like the light they shead on him and nikki and wish they would have played more into it.
Still love it but expected more
