The Boppy Company Bare Naked Pillow Review

I love my boppy; however, if I were to make a list of what you absolutely need for a new baby - it would not make the cut. Here's why:

First, the boppy isn't built for all sizes. I am on the bigger side and the boppy did not fit comfortably around me. If you are smaller, you will have no problem, but I think they should make a special boppy for those who aren't blessed to be a size 8 after they give birth.

Second, it doesn't really help with breastfeeding all that much. I used it a couple times with the aid of other pillows and such - but the boppy alone could not help me nurse my newborn. Now, when my newborn grew a little, it was a little more easy.

Some of the pluses of the boppy are:

A lot of my friends use it as a prop to hold my infant. They can get heavy and I have been told by MORE than one person that with the help of the Boppy, they are able to hold my infant for a more extended period of time.

I like to put my infant inside it and play with him. He is, of course, always attended to (because I know that this isn't a FEATURE that Boppy provides) - but I love it because he is able to sit up a little and look at me.

Having a Boppy has it's pluses, but like I said, it's not a necessity.
