One of the biggest challenges that a person faces today is how to keep the skin radiant, pimple-free and fresh looking. This problem is compounded in summer when the hot season makes my skin sweaty, dull and prone to acne. I recently came across "Vitamin C Facial Cleanser Polish" by " The Body Shop" and I must say it lives up to the promises it makes. The Vitamin C Facial Cleanser Polish is for dull, tired complexion and promises to restore glow and skin's natural radiance after use. It contains Amazonian camu camu berry and Community Fair Trade ingredients.Whether they are the effects of a hot summer day, sweat, dust and pollution, the use of this cleanser and polish makes my skin feel rejuvenated and very refreshed. Effectiveness You only need a small quantity of the cleansing face polish at a time and it lasts for a long time. The Body Shop products are of very high quality so I would recommend it for oily to normal skins. After application, the skin feels fresh and exfoliated but not dry or irritated. Ease of Application You only have to massage it over wet skin and lather in light circular motion. It exfoliates the skin and brightens complexion. Scent The scent is a fruity, orange one but not overpowering in any way. It does not linger much!

I use quite a few of The Body Shop Vitamin C products. This is the everyday exfoliating cleanser in the line. Being TBS, I like the TBS's values including no animal testing and saving the planet. The grains are fine-not abrasive or scratchy as in many products. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't bother it at all. One of the main reasons-it has Community Trade aloe vera in it to calm down skin. (Note-I use this exfoliant at night and a gentle cleanser in the morning.) It is a very gentle exfoliator-I don't notice a huge change which is why I use TBS microdermobrasion about twice a week with this; however my skin definitely feels smother after using this. My skin is also combination-this leaves the oily parts clean but keeps my dry parts from being too dry. As for the price, I think it's reasonable. TBS is slightly more expensive than drugstores but worth it in my opinion. There is a slight orangey scent to it. I barely notice it at all.

I am a huge fan of all the Maca Root Men's line shaving products from The Body Shop and on my last restock trip I noticed this new product mixed in so decided to give it a try as there was a good deal going on. Having used it 4-5 times so far I can say that I definitely like the product and think that it is effective. My skin is slightly sensitive so I was worried initially that it would be too abrasive and leave my face red and irritated since it is not advised for sensitive skin, but that was not the case at all. In fact, I found it to be rather gentle for a microdermabrasion scrub and was hardly irritating and much less so than St. Ives products that I typically use. It also does an excellent job of lifting the dead skin around ingrown hairs and I always have a wonderful shave the morning after I use this scrub during my night shower.

I have dull looking skin and so , The Body Shop consultant recommended using the Vitamin C cleansing face polish to brighten it up. She gave me a tester and 3 days later , I went back and bought it. It comes in a 100ml bright orange tube with a flip top lid.Face Polish has micro-beads that remove impurities and makeup.Antioxidant vitamin C brightens skin, encourages collagen production, improves elasticity and helps to protect skin from environmental pollutants. My skin never looked this good before using this product.Though TBS says the cleansing Face Polish is a mild scrubbing antioxident cleanser that is suitable for everyday use and for all skin types , I use it only twice a week.I take a pea sized amount on my fingers and lather it nicely on the face with a TBS facial brush paying extra care to the T zones.I then rinse with water.It leaves my skin very smooth and revitalized. This is definitely a refreshing way to start your morning.I love this product because it leaves my skin radiant. without excessive dryness.It has a lovely scent too!

After going to a popular make up store and being told rather rudely that I needed to exfoliate at least once a week, I started trying a lot of different exfoliators. The Vitamin C one from the Body Shop is by far the best one I found. It's formula does not have a super gritty texture. It is a more refined texture that doesn't feel like you are ripping your skin to pieces when you use it. Instead it makes you feel like it is gently removing dead skin cells. After I use it my skin feels so soft and fresh. I really like the texture, consistency, and smell of this exfoliator. It is a very reasonable price too, because one bottle of it will last you a very long time. The Body Shop always has deals going on so you can usually get it at a discounted price which is just an added bonus to this great product. I have nothing negative to say about it. I would and have recommended it to many people because I truly believe it is a great product!!!

I used to shop at The Body Shop all the time, but I got tired of going into this store because I felt its offerings were so limited it wasn't very interested. There was another product I used called "Vitamin C Microrefiner". An exfoliant I would use two or three times a week prior to showering. It was a wipe off exfoliant and was considered "microdermabrasion". Per the store clerk, this meant the particles to smooth the skin were so fine it would have a "microdermabrasion" affect on the skin. I liked using it, but found it to be cumbersome to take the time necessary for an effective result. The Cleansing Face Polish is much more convenient because it's all one step (exfoliant + cleanser) and I can use it in the shower. The polishing pearls are a little larger, therefore it doesn't really overstimulate my skin and cause some type of little breakouts - which did happen with the Microrefiner. I am a busy person and prefer the all-in-one, clean, crisp finish I can get from products. I use this as my main exfoliant only two or three times a week in the shower - not everyday. Body Shop products are also affordable, but you have to get to the mall or store to buy it because it's not sold in drugstores.

I switched from Mary Kay to this whole Vitamin C line.  I love it.  I have very sensitive skin and have had no problems with this skin care line.  I particularily love the face polish, it has just enough exfoliation for everyday use, but is gentle for my dry skin.  I would recommend the entire Vitamin C line.
