After trying out The Body Shop's Satsuma Body Butter and being very impressed I was on the hunt for their other Satsuma products. I came across their Satsuma Shower Gel and was an immediate convert. The shower gel smells amazing! It smells fresh and clean and citrusy. And when used in conjunction with the Satsuma Body Butter the scent lingers on the skin all day long. When you use the shower gel with a shower pouf it produces tons of fragrant bubbles and leaves you feeling like you are using something really luxurious and indulgent. The gel cleans thoroughly without drying or leaving any sort of residue on the skin. All you experience is fresh, clean, lightly scented skin. As with most of The Body Shop's products it can be a bit on the pricier side so it's worth it to look for it when there is a sale going on. I definitely highly recommend this wonderfully scented gel, especially if you are a citrus fan.

I have used many shower gels all with the same result, dry, itchy skin. The Body Shop shower gels are soap free, so they won't dry out your skin. They also have a wonderful fragrance that isn't too overpowering. My husband and I can both use the same shower gel, finally! Effectiveness A refreshing clean without drying out your skin! Scent Very nice while you're showering and it stays with you while not being over the top. It also can be used by men or women. It leaves you with a clean, refreshing smell.

A few years ago I was given a bottle of The Body Shop's Satsuma Shower Gel for my birthday and fell in love instantly. It smells so good and is a great morning pick me up. Effectiveness Satsuma Shower Gel lathers up really nicely and cleanses well but it's a bit on the thin side so sometimes a little more comes out of the bottle than I'd like. I've also tried to use it as a bubble bath and that doesn't work so well. Scent Satsuma Shower Gel smells incredible, which is the most important thing to me. I love to wake up, get in the shower, and have great-smelling bath and body products to use. And Satsuma Shower Gel totally fits the bill. This orange-colored shower gel smells like many citrus fruits in one. Orange, tangerine, grapefruit. It's fresh, bright, and a great scent that really wakes me up in the morning.

I am very picky in terms of fragrances. I don't care for shower gel that is too flowery. I much prefer something lemon, grapefruit --- so basically citrus. I've tried many brands and I often find the fragrance either kind of fake or quite weak. There is a Body Shop a short walk from my home and they often advertise sales. On a whim, a couple of years ago I walked in and bought a small bottle of the Satsuma Shower Gel. They had a few testers of different bottles/different scents and really liked this one. As others have said. It smells great. And its in no way strong in a bad way, but in a good way. You can actually really smell it a you shower. I don't know if I will call it invigorating, but it gets your attentonn. Just a fresh, bright, citrus scent. Sure I can get cheaper shower gels at drugstores, Trader Joes's etc -- but this is my favorite. Just a great citrus scent. I have a bottle in my shower right now. I don't always use it, but when I run out of the bottle and start using another brand, its a big difference. Body Shop has some great sales, so can likely get it on sale.

I bought this product for my sister as a gift secretly hoping at some time that I would get to try it too.  My wish recently came true when I stayed overnight at her house and I discovered she had the product out on her shelf.  I decided to use the product as a bubble bath instead of applying it directly to my skin.  I only had to use a small amount as the product is thick, rich, and concentrated.  While I didn't get a whole bath full of bubble it still lathered luxuriously and it wasn't intended to be used as a bubble bath anyway. The scent is captivating and citrusy.  It smells like a combination of oranges, tangerines and a tiny bit of vanilla thrown in for good measure. It does have a very invigorating scent. It left my skin soft, smooth and nicely moisturized which I appreciated since my skin is usually very dry in the winter.  I plan on purchasing more of the satsuma products in the near future.
