The Body Shop Satsuma Body Polish —

A couple of times a week, I like to use a body scrub in the shower to make my skin look healthy and polished. Some scrubs can be too harsh but I found The Body Shop Satsuma Body Polish and it is gentle enough to use everyday.

Satsuma Body Polish

This body polish is a "gel-based, foaming scrub loaded with exfoliating crushed walnut shells and loofah particles." It has a sweet citrus fragrance, is best for normal skin and is suitable for daily use. A 6.75 oz. tube currently costs $20 on The Body Shop website.

My Experience

This tube has a flip top that makes it easy to open in the shower. The scent is absolutely amazing and revitalizes me on those lazy mornings. It smells almost like a fresh cut orange. The product has a medium thickness and lathers up extremely well. The crushed walnut shells are very fine but still quite effective. This polish contains Community Trade honey that moisturizes and conditions. It rinses off easily and leaves my skin feeling renewed, refreshed and revitalized. This polish is only to be used on the body and never on the face. If you are looking for a great facial exfoliater, I recommend Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash.

My Final Viewpoint

The Body Shop Satsuma Body Polish is a quality product that is effective, has a fantastic scent and is gentle enough to use everyday. It is a bit pricey at $20 but a little of this product goes a long way. I am giving Satsuma Body Polish a 4 star rating.

Mmmm...the description of the scent sounds absolutely yummy. Even at $20 it's worth it if you feel pampered when you're done. :)

The walnut shells are very very fine. They definitely won't clog the drain. Thanks for the comment!

LOL -- I LOVE this scent. I will have to try it in a candle.

This was a great review! A few years ago, I tried a type of soap with oats in it but I was worried about it possibly clogging up the drain. This one sounds like it wouldn't do that since the walnut shells are harder and might even help keep the drain running better.

I also love the candles and essential oils in this scent. Could smell it in the mall hallways. But couldn't get the double stroller through the aisleways to go buy it.
