The Body Shop Almond Shower Gel —

A friend of mine gave me an 8.4 fluid ounce bottle of The Body Shop Almond Shower Gel last summer.  I had never really tried the line before and had a whole bathroom closet full of bath and beauty products... I put off trying this product for a good 6 months.  Boy do I regret it! This is a wonderful shower gel!

The Beauty Shop Almond Shower Gel is a yellowish-tan translucent product that is more like a liquid than an actual gel.  It has a light but still lovely almond fragrance.  I am a sucker for almond scents and this shower gel doesn't disappoint.  The flip-top cap on the bottle makes it easy to dispense this product onto your hand, a bath pouf, or directly onto skin.

You only need a quarter-sized dollop of The Body Shop Almond Shower Gel on a bath pouf to produce enough lather for your entire body.  Shower gels, in my experience, are usually low-lather items, but this particular one produced about 3 or 4 times as much lather as I expected.  (TBS may want to change the name of this item from "shower gel" to "body wash".)  Anyway, this product does a nice job of cleansing skin without drying it out.

I have been happy with this product.  I love the fragrance, the lather, and the longevity of the bottle! The Body Shop Almond Shower Gel has convinced me that I need to visit the local TBS shop to stock up on Almond and other products.  Recommended!
