Most HelpfulYes. I get it. You get some really overweight people together and put them on TV and call it The Biggest Loser. The winner is, of course, the person who makes the biggest lifestyle changes or plays the game the best. Toss the coin.
We have weight issues in this country. That is no secret. The Biggest...
read full review »I watched the first two seasons of The Biggest Loser. I found it to be inspiring. I got bored though. You get morbidly obese people together, make them live in close quarters, make them exercise until they vomit, after vomiting exercise more, put them on a diet that is unsustainable in the real world, tempt them, get them to run each other down, and vote people off. The scenery changes but the story stays the same.
Every season, new people, similar challenges, someone wins. They claim it's under doctor's supervision and it's safe. I don't think it's true. In no way is it healthy to lose 20 or...
read full review »The Biggest Loser is a great motivator to work off weight, and a good way to make those not so hendered by weight issues aware of what a struggle it can be for the obese population ever growing in today's society. You really get to know the contestants and begin rooting for them all, even when they're up against your favorites.
On the downside, the show really should be about an hour. The commercial breaks are rediculous, especially around the weigh-ins and the voting and the end. When coming back from a commercial, they NEVER pick-up at the point where they left off buy roll back the footage...
read full review »NBC's the biggest loser is one of the best shows I have ever see. This show is very motivational for people who are trying to loose weight and for people who dont think they are strong enough to change there own life. Life starts right then and people realize that and it is so nice to see how these people change over time. They really do become a family and that helps them really work togehter for the common goal. There were some people who have been on the show that I dont think deserved to be there but there have really been some inspiring people on there that really inspired me to be a better...
read full review »My favorite reality competition show has become the Biggest Loser. Having been on for several seasons I just recently became a faithful viewer. It is always up against American Idol and Dancing with the Stars so I never opted to watch it. Since I tuned in I've become addicted. My favorite part of the show is the weigh in where some of the contestants drop unbelievable amounts of weight in as short of a time as one week. I enjoy watching them endure the unbearable workouts that trainers Jillian and Bob put the contestants through every week. Some of the results of the participants are...
read full review »I love this show. It is so inspiring and positive. I just wish people were voted off for othere reasons than something personal. I think this season, they have dragged out the voting process way too long. I also wish they would change the screen when doing the weigh-in to show their beginning weight (currently it is only stated), weight last weigh-in and the new weight.
I like that they follow-up with the contestants.
I love Jillian and Bob, the new girl can go.
This show has really inspired me to get off the couch and lose some weight. I figure if these people who are truly obese can get in the gym and work out for up to 8 hours a day, I can do it too! I really love Bob. He is super sweet and you can tell he really cares about those he is training.
