This little gadget is great.  The video shows how to do the exercises in a very quick and simple manner.  The workouts are short and still result in a stronger and flatter belly.

I have broken my pelvis and because of this I've developed some lower back issues.  This ball makes it possible for me to do crunches with a much wider range of motion than before, WITHOUT pain.  And because it's smaller than a traditional exercise ball it works your muscles much more intensly.

I have tried many different gadgets and workouts to tone and flatten my belly, this is the best.

In response to boxers11's comment from Sep 20, 2009 at 2:38PM:

Check the sporting goods section, because baleys makes a ball that is the same for half the price (just doesn't come with the dvd).

In response to valluvwood's comment from Aug 4, 2009 at 5:42PM:

THANK YOU! I was about to order from the website and decided to google it to see what reviews had been written, and yours helped!!! I will pick one up the next time I am at Target and not have to deal with waiting and addtiional charges on my card. Thanks again!!!

valluvwood wrote on Aug 4, 2009 at 5:42PM

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT DIRECTLY FROM THE COMPANY. JUST PURCHASE IT AT TARGET OR YOUR LOCAL SPORTING GOOD STORE. I purchase mine at Target for $19.99 + tax. You get the ball and the DVD's save the hassel GOOD LUCK

I had the same issues with the company and I demanded to speak to a manager. I told them that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau and my bank. Basically, as soon as I mentioned BBB their story changed. I did get all of my money back.Although, I did have to wait until I received the dvds and sent them back. Luckily I tracked the package and knew when they arrived so I could call and kindly "remind" them of our agreement. I made sure I had full names and extension numbers. I am completely turned off from buying anything on television now!

Beware, beware, beware! ...and read the fine print. You may think you declined every offer that was made for additional exercise videos, vitamins, etc., when you ordered, but by purchasing this kit, you are signing up for monthly mailings of more videos with a price tag, including shipping, of just under $50 each time. To avoid having to incur shipping costs, both receiving and returning, be sure to cancel your membership as soon as you order the Bender Ball Kit before they have a chance to mail you your first set of exercise videos!!!

HUGE SCAM

ALESSANDRA78 wrote on Apr 23, 2009 at 11:15AM

Do not order from this company. Even when I called and said that I don't want any membership and sent emails they charged 2 more times in the same week. Was an account that I don't even use anymore and I came to find out that I have a collecting company for bender ball charges. You can call as many times that you want, they will still find a way to charge you!!! DON'T GET THE BALL, A PERSONAL TRAINER IS EVEN LESS EXPENSIVE.

I am going to every website I can find to wrtie a bad review. I ordered the bender ball off TV and like others I sat through 10 minutes of an automated system making sure I chose no for any other unwanted offers. Then I received the ball and was pretty happy with it and I have had success but it's not worth it. A month after I received my order I had a random charge for $28 on my account. I called and they said I had 2 dvd's on the way. I told them I didn't authorize it. Customer service told me there was a 30 day trial disclosure on the back of my receipt (who looks at the back of their receipt?) and I didn't call and cancel within 30 days so they are sending me these dvd's! I mailed the dvd's back as soon as I got them and then 1 week later had another charge for $20. It's been 3 weeks now and they are still saying they haven't received the package back. I have had to call and report my card as stolen and file a debit dispute with my bank in order to get my money back....rediculous! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!

UPDATE - EVERYONE GO TO INFOMERCIALSCAM.COM & ENTER BENDERBALL

DNKNLA wrote on Feb 5, 2009 at 7:34PM

DO NOT ODER A BENDERBALL BY PHONE. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. FOR EVERY PROMPT TO ORDER SOMETHING ELSE I PRESSED NO!!! THEY NEVER SAID THAT I WOULD BE SENT ANOTHER ITEM MONTHLY. WHEN I RECEIVED 2 DVD THAT I DIDN'T WANT. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE TO SEND THEM BACK AT MY EXPENSE & HOPE THEY CREDIT BACK BY CREDIT CARD. FROM SOME OF THE REVIEWS I JUST READ, THAT MAY NOT HAPPEN. HOW DO I GET THIS MONKEY OFF MY BACK? SAVE YOURSELVES - DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. THE FCC NEEDS TO CHECK INTO THIS CO.

Attention world of masses! The Bender Ball is now available to purchase at WAL-MART!!!!! I found it there last weekend and am actually thinking about getting it. It's 20 bucks and I have no clue what all comes with it but it is there. Look in the section where they sell the AS SEEN ON TV products and it should be there. Save yourself a headache and bad credit card scam and go buy your bender ball from WAL-MART. You will be glad that you did

ophiagirl wrote on Aug 3, 2008 at 11:05PM

The ball itself works. It gives you an excellent abdominal workout. The first time I used it I thought "I don't feel a thing" but then the next day I could barely sit up. Take it easy at first. The ball is pretty poor quality...it needs to be constantly blown up (gets pretty irritating). Now for the "but"... the company has been running a scam by signing customers up for a continuity program without their knowledge, luckily I found out BEFORE I ordered. Check it out and be informed...http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/881313/are_you_the_next_victim_of_the_bender.html?cat=50

I found a great alternative to the Bender Ball; it's literally a child's playground ball, but it will support up to 300 lbs. when it's not completely inflated (which for these ab exercises is usually how you need it). It also doesn't move around much when you do the exercises. It's the SloMo ball from sportime.com, and it was only $6. I was too afraid to order the Bender Ball after all of these negative reviews!

gadfield wrote on Jul 14, 2008 at 10:25PM

Thankfully I baught mine off of ebay new. So I don't have to worry about the extra costs. I so far haven't had any back problems I actually like it. I have owned it now for 2 months and I feel great. I do it every morning before I start my day and it just makes my day. That sure is terrible what they are doing to you guys though. I would be turning them in.

I wished I had seen your comment before I ordered!!!!!!! I will cancel this credit card account just because of them.

LMP wrote on May 13, 2008 at 3:14PM

I ordered the bender ball and had to sift through a ton of extra unwanted ads just to place the order. Now, every month I receive a new product from them, which I regect at the door. I've never gotten my money back for any of these products, even though I've cancelled my order 3 times. No one at customer service wants to take responsibility, either. I've called three time to cancel my monthly mystery orders and each time the rep assured me I won't receive any more product. So this last time, I e-mailed my complaint to customer service. I was told to contact customer service. WHAT??!!?? Who are you then??? I've never been able to blow the ball up enough to form a ball...I'ts a race to get the plug in without losing half the air. To date I've received a crappy ball and monthly unwanted products, money automatically taken from my bank account without prior consent and a ton of junk email. Thanks Bender Ball.

Marinda159 wrote on May 2, 2008 at 8:29PM

Has anyone had success in getting their money refunded???? What can I do to get it back in my account??? Please help! They sent me extra DVD's I made sure not to order because I already read the reviews. I do like the product...not love the product but I want my money back for something I did not order and I returned! They say it's not scanned back into the warehouse....that was 3 months ago! stay away!

littlebit38 wrote on Mar 24, 2008 at 2:53AM

This is horrible; it kills your back, does not inflate. I cancelled future orders and they shipped anyway and charged my card; I sent right back and they had the balls to charge me shippping on something I had cancelled weeks before it shipped. These people are con-artist all the way. Don't waste your hard earned dollars on this. Your better off without this crap!

girlie1074 wrote on Mar 3, 2008 at 11:41PM

i also had lower back pain that was new. the ball never inflates fully. now i am being charged for things i never ordered. buy a small ball at kmart and find exercises online on how to use it. do not waste your money on this product and do not get involved with this company, or you'll being paying forever

auntrachel wrote on Feb 28, 2008 at 6:20AM

I agree that you can NOT get it fully inflated, I've tried numerous times. On top of which my lower back is now killing me from using it. I tried it in several different positions and it feels fine while I'm working out but the next day it kills. I've also had problems getting extra items now that I NEVER agreed to, so it's been an ongoing battle to deal with their smug
customer service people to try to get my money back.

jshapan wrote on Feb 26, 2008 at 8:40AM

I purchased the ball and first... the process, they put you through 10 minutes of try automated... selling of other products not related at all to the ball... before you can complete the transaction...HORRIBLE!!!

Then they shipped me 2 which I DID NOT order. THEN, I had to pay $7 to return it because Customer Service demanded I have return receipt tracing.

NEXT... the ball comes with a small white straw that you are suppose to blow into to inflate this ball.. You CAN NOT get it totally inflated. NO WAY!

This is the cheapest, worst designed rip off I have ever seen. And they the tape is short and has virtually nothing of an value on it. You just make up your crunches and do a better job!

My suggestion, don't wast your time or money on a Bender Ball.
