I absolutely love my Bean Total Body Exerciser. Compared to other exercise equipment out there it is inexpensive, effective, comfortable, and if you want to be like me, I bought the one with the neck support so it is extra supportive. To explain the above part, you can buy the bean with or without added neck support, which is just another bump (pillow) added to the top of the bean. It is portable and very easy to use. It has a lot more stability than just a regular stability ball but has alomst the same effect. I guess you could say it is in the shape of an actualy bean. It is maily for the abdominal area but you can still work out your entire body with the Bean. It can hold up to 400 pounds. They will also provide you with a pump to help inflate your bean, a repair kit, and a workout DVD with over fifty exercises. You will find yourself doing a lot of Pilates with the bean. You can turn the bean over on its other side and do a number of different exercises as well. The Bean is fun and it truly does work. It helped me to lose a lot of weight and I love it dearly. My only problem with the bean is that it can rip. My bean has infact done this and all you have to do is cut the "Bean" imblem off the inflatible device, send it in through the mail, and within days I received a brand new Bean.

This is one of the most dangerous items I had bought for exercise.  I have fibromyalgia so have poor balance which was a total disaster trying to use this item.  I cannot tell you how many times I fell off the object and had all kinds of sore areas all over my body. The DVD that came with it was not even for the bean exerciser I had.  Very soon after getting it air started escaping from some place on seam which I never could find to patch it.  Therefore, I would start each day pumping it up (this was best exercise I got out of it).  Then came the day I apparently pumped it too full of air and the seam that was suppose to go in stuck out like a rupture.  Talk about lopsided.  There was no way I could even think about getting on it.  Apparently whole shipment of this contraption was flawed as no one would rate it above 1 star.  A new shipment came in but we all had been stung once and would not risk a second chance.  I was surprised to see that it is still being sold.
