This book and others by the Sears helped me through some difficult times when I was pregnant and while my two babies were growing. This book has really good alternatives to the cry it out method. I really recommend it for parents that want to try a more compassionate and holistic style of parenting. I unfortunately did not come accross this book until my 3rd child was a couple months old. We did practice attachment parenting since #1 was born but didn't know that it had a name. They never tell you you HAVE to do something. They give you the 7B's and tell you to do the one's that fit with your own family. Such a countrast to alot of the other parenting books available. Nonetheless, what they do have to say is useful and can really help new parents who have no idea how to approach life with a…
