I started Atkins 37 days ago thinking it would never work but since everything else had failed, why not give Atkins a try. I started at 178.8 and I am now 168.2. I lost 8 inches total off of my body and my clothes show it well. I used to be hungry and crave things all the time and by the end of the first week, my craving disappeared. I used to drink almost a 12 pack of diet coke a day and hated water. Well guess what? I stopped caffeine and now drink 1/2 my body weight in water a day. To those who think it is all meat and boring. Read the book. You are allowed a about 15 net carbs of veggies a day and when you use a digital scale to weigh your foods, that is a lot. I have learned how to make tons of fun and exciting meals that I look forward to and my family can enjoy. The Atkins community is free to join and a great resource. I admit, my weight loss has been slow, but I am still learning about Atkins and my own body and it has been fun. Yes, I said fun. It is fun to wake up and not gain a  pound, yet feel full all day. It is fun to buy smaller clothes and know that soon you will be your goal weight. It is fun to look in the mirror and say, "go girl!" Read the book and give it a honest try. Use the Atkins community and you will lose weight. I feel 5 years younger and have more energy than ever before. I am so proud of myself and you can be too!
