Too much meat

Pros

    fast results, no calorie counting, eat foods like bacon, can eat meats and cheeses

Cons
    Good foods are BAD on this diet, super restrictive with carbs, I don't think it's healthy long term, hard to stick to, not enough fiber, very severe, even fruits, veggies & grains are NONOs

I do not recommend this diet.  With the Atkins diet, you are supposed to eliminate most carbs from your diet, eating only meat, eggs, and certain vegetables, and that is about all you can eat.  You will lose weight fairly quickly; however, this is a very hard diet to stick to for any length of time, and once you end this diet, the weight is gained back rather quickly.  There are just not enough options on this diet, and you have to restrict things that I think we all are supposed to eat, and so you end up graving things with carbs, and hating all meat.  It is very unhealthy.
