The Advocate is the best source of gay and lesbian currant events and news that I know of. Could be more thorough on some things. Is usually quite fair and balanced. The article are well written most of the time and enjoyable to read. I find it very interesting. I think every homosexual should at least take a glance at it on a regular basis to stay up to date on current events in their community. I try to read it thoroughly every week. I personally find it very accurrate and up to date.
The Advocate magazine is the single most important source of news addressing the gay & lesbian community. Each biweekly issue offers articles on politics, entertainment, travel, and products and services targeted to lgbt folks. Regular subscription rate is $39.99 but you might be able to find discounts, like a 2 for 1 special around the holidays.
Great magazine for LGBT community, increasingly relevant. The new editor promises to make it more timely. Less cheese and stereotypical whining. More focus on moving news on relevant issues. I highly recommend the Advocate for those who want to know what is going on with the community at large. Great articles, and great website to supplement.
This is the oldest, most reliable source of gay and lesbian news. Been reading it for 35 years. Sometimes the news in it has already been reported elsewhere, but in-depth analysis happens here. Lately they have added some features I'm not quite sure apply. Cars? I realize they need auto advertising, but when did cars become a gay subject?
