One of the best airline in asia !

I have a chance to flight with Thai airline from Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok. I cannot forget the smile of cabin crew. It is really impressive on my memory. I feel that it is very friendly, they look like one of member in my family. The service is good, I have nothing to say. You should try one time with Thai airline. Thank you

Treated like a King (Queen)

I've flown Thai Airways over a dozen times and have never been disappointed. My very first time flying Thai Airways formed the best impression ever of any airline I had ever flown. I was greeted with a lovely purple orchid as a boarded the plane. The entire plane had a peaceful and calming ambience. Of course, my favorite color is purple, so that may have added to the charm. The flight attendants were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I've taken both short and long flights on Thai Air and they all have exceeded my expectations. I'm a huge fan of Thai food and definitely not a fan of airline food. However, Thai Air, once again, surprised me. The food onboard, even on the shortest flights, was incredible. Every single time, I got a full (airline-sized) meal that was absolutely delicious. Service The attendants are so friendly and attentive. In-Flight Accommodations The food is absolutely amazing! Portion sizes are perfect and the dishes are authentically Thai.

Thai Airways - a good experience!

I haven't flown Thai Airways on too many occaions, but when I have, the flight has been a wonderful experience. I myself am not a great passenger in the sense that I worry about all manner of things; turbulence, motion sickness etc but when I last flew with Thai Airways, there was a distinct impression that the Air Hostesses wanted everyone to feel relaxed and comfortable, which really eased my flight nerves. They are clearly trained very well in the art of customer service and this goes a long way to helping people like me. The food was wonderfully tastey, if a little on the small side and the toilets were plentiful and clean. Unlike the other flights I have taken recently, all my seat gadgets were working properly and looked brand new and untouched by human hands. Upon exiting the aircraft we were honored with a personal "thank you for flying" greeting from all of the flight crew and collecting our lugguage was a breeze at Bangkok airport. I would unquestionnably travel with Thai Airways again as their skill in customer satisfaction is second to no one.

Thai Airways is just another average airline. Service Thai Airways offers service to a majority of the major international airports that a majority of travelers venture through. In-Flight Accommodations The in-flight accommodations that were offered on my Thai Airways flight left a little to be desired. While we were offered beverages almost immediately after reaching 10,000 feet, it seemed to be a few hours before the thought of food had gone through any of the flight attendants minds. Once the food tray started rolling down the isles, I was faced with the option of two hot dishes for my meal or a cold one. I opted for the cold one as neither the overcooked fish dish and dehydrated chicken option seemed appealing. The beverage card was only brought down the isles one other time during the five hour flight. At least there was some good entertainment available to help make the duration of the flight pass.

I flew Thai Airways on a short trip from Vietnam to Thailand and had a good experience with them. Check in was normal. Their airport is actually pretty nice. Bags didn't take too long to arrive. There was a fairly long line for customs though, but no problems. What I liked was that they provided a meal even though it was a short flight. It was like a shrimp salad or something. Food always makes me happier. I don't remember if there was in flight entertainment on there. I would recommend flying Thai Airways and would choose them again. Service was good. In flight-Accommodations met my expectations. I think I was able to watch a movie during the flight. No problems with Thai Airways. We were actually part of a tour group and everyone in our group were able to sit together. I had a good time in Thailand, but would recommend not being part of a tour group so you can eat what you actually want to eat.

Service and Food are superior to none

This is a great airline. I travel internationally at least once a month for work and the difference between a good and a bad airline determines my mood for the entire trip.  Thai is brilliant. The seats are a little bigger than most. Although the fabric can be a little too bright.  Bathrooms are constantly cleaned - I sat in the back once and was dreading the traffic and smell but it wasn't an issue. The service is great.  Thai has about 8 employees assigned to the economy class section  for 200-seaters which makes the the ration of agent-passenger quite low. The food is also warm and good although the trays are small.I like that on most flights they give all female passengers an orchid as they enter the plane. A nice touch.

Enjoyment of Thai Flight can be effected by unforseen variables.

Second trip on Thai Airways in three years. Went to BKK in mid January, returned at end of month. On nonstop flight from LAX to BKK, Trip over quite good, food and service were above average. ( Unfortunately, average these days is not all that great.) Trip back was mini-nightmare. Food was not very good on return flight. AVOD unit in front of me kept freezing up. Asked to have rebooted three times, the last time was onlly so I could turn the damn thing off and have it dark to encourage some sleep. The attendant, the on the last request found fault with the way I was using the AVOD, and thereby causing the freeze up and would not re-boot so I could make the space dark by turning it off. So I had a bright nightlight for the last ten hours of the flight. Trip was made miserable by my seat mate, (I had the window seat at 57K) who, when she showed up, informed me that she was supposed to have a window seat but when re-ticketed, did not get one. She strongly suggested that I should give her my window seat, and when I declined, she tried picking every scab she could find to irritate me. She turned on her reading light, covered her head and left it on when the whole section of the plane was dark; she would feign being asleep so she could make a big deal about how inconsiderate I was to wake her up if I had to go to the head; and keep reminding me that I could have avoided the problem if I had given her my window seat. The seat mate was probably not the airlines fault, everything else was. I have had a much better experience with Asiana, even considering the 11 hour layover at Inchon.

Avoid Thai Airways from now on

1

I've read the reviews on this site about how great Thai Airways is.  Come on.  You're sitting in the First Class.  Of course, they'll treat you well.  But for those going by Economy class, avoid Thai Airways.  Avoid it even more so if you're traveling with infants or young children because priority boarding meant NOTHING.  Everyone rushed to the gate since there's no airline staff to check if you're really First Class/ Royal Thai Silk member, etc.  And you have to bring the stroller to the gate yourself and fold it yourself (while holding a baby and one kid running around).  Oh, and don't ever request an infant aisle if you're traveling with a baby because, again, it meant NOTHING.  At the airport, if the seats are already given to perfectly healthy (not disabled) adults, the staff is not going to help you get one.  "you're on your own."  And so, a guy sitting in front of me leaned his chair back and almost hit my baby's head.  And don't expect anything about the air conditioning on the flight and the food...(think cardboard).  So, please avoid it.  Safety is not their priority.  I have a bagpack with me during both take off and landing and some of the seats in front are leaned back during those times too.  Thai Airways is not what it used to be.

Bag stolen at Bangkok airport

1

Old airplane had no IFE for seats, just a horrible screen located 50m away from seat and delivering 10 years old world funniest videos. even China Eastern can do better. then Thai airways staff stole my luggage at Bangkok during a connection from Shanghai to Samui. Worst is they deny any responsability, as they assume somebody took my luggage by mistake at arrival. this airline is a joke I still cannot understand why someone can recommend it.

I have been to Thailand several times and my prefered airlines is Thai International. They have all the things you would want in an airline. Great food that is almost at restaurant quality (which isnt bad when you are at 40,000 feet above the middle of the Pacific Ocean). The seats were roomy and comfortable even in economy class. The aircraft was clean. Very attentive flight attendants. What ever you want, what everyou need, these wonderful people make you think they are glad that you brought it to their attention so they could take care of it. One flight I was on, I was seated directly behind an infant. Anyone who has flown on the same airplane as an infant knows how bad that can be. Thai International has what they call a baby flight attendant dedicated to making sure the baby (and the rest of us) has a good flight. Every time that kid peeped the flight attendant was there within a minute to see if she could help. She warmed bottles. She walked the kid up and down the aisles. She played with the kid while the mother was in the toilet. I think she even changed a diaper. That is service!
