Texas Instruments - TI-89 Graphic Calculator —
The TI-89 has a huge set of features. I also have a TI-83, which gets superior battery life, but the TI-89 does symbolic integration, symbolic derivation, and units conversion. Also, pretty print helps avoid lots of common errors from improper use of parentheses. Overall an excellent calculator, and worth the extra money if you're going to be pursuing a field in engineering.
