Texas Instruments - TI-89 Graphic Calculator Review

I used this calculator in my high school calculus class. The instruction manual is big enough to be a full-length novel, but if you take the time to read parts of it, you may be surprised at how many problem-solving steps this calculator can eliminate for you. And after performing the functions several times, they will become second-nature...I promise!

One of my personal favorite features was "Draw." During slow moments in my calc class, I would play! First I would graph a circle, then I would remove the grid and axes. The next step was employing the "draw" tool, and I would create a volleyball, a basketball, a soccer ball... I could insert text. Then I could save the graph, so I could show my calculating, also-bored-in-class friends later.
