Texas Instruments - TI 84 Plus —

Now the greatness of the calculator will often go unappreciated by the new generations whom have always had them available, but the graphing calculator goes above and beyond the basics and will often be unappreciated by those whom do not understand mathematics and all the wonderful things this calculator can do.

When it comes to buying a good calculator, then Texas Instruments are the standard to which others are held up to. Some will buy a Hewett Packard, but they are not as user friendly and school friendly as the Texas Instrument products. For a mathematician the Texas Instrument 84 is a bare necessity's for doing your work. I would really recommended this calculator for anyone who needs to take calculus, however if you need to take things beyond calculus such as differential equations then I would definitely recommend upgrading to the Texas instrument 89.

If your college or school offers it, I would also recommend taking a class on just how to use this calculator and all the great features it has, and if not, then just ask a teacher and they will show you a lot of great tools available in this amazing calculator.
