Texas Instruments - TI 84 Plus —

I used this calculator in my AP calc class and it was perfect! It helped me understand calculus by graphing everything! It took the complex mathematical graphs and made them into an understandable, visual aid to understanding the class that I was weakest in. It was fantastic! It has these sick functions and you can even program it to calculate the quadratic equation. Also, from what I remember, it has this game called “block boy” in it, which is handy for whiling away a math class. But overall this calculator is durable – very important. Comes with a cover and so the screen and buttons and everything manage to stay in great condition. The battery life is long, the calculator is great. Fast working and effective. Be careful though – these things aren’t cheap and people at my old high school were known to have their’s stolen. Because it does so much, it is pretty enormous in terms of a handheld calculator, which is something to be aware of. If you have a space problem in your bag or something or don’t like to carry bulky items, then you should probably get you hands on one to try it out. The pro is that it’s not actually that heavy!
