Teva produces quality footwear that lasts.  These sandals can take you from the street, into the river, and through the woods.  They're comfortable and durable.  The adjustable straps will keep this securely on your foot whether you're white-water rafting, wading, or just walking.  I actually can't think of a single reason not to like them.
