I lucked upon this In-tank Filter for my new aquarium. I bought the aquarium online and it didn't come complete (I knew that when I bought it), so I was slowly looking to get the rest of the parts. Good for an internal filter, not good as your only filter...

It works well for an internal filter, but I would not recommend using it as your only filter.  You are very limited on what types of filter media you can use, and the ones made for it are fairly expensive.  You can however buy sheets of filter media foam and cut them to size to save a few dollars. ... review »
