Tetra Reptomin Floating food sticks Review

I have had two red ear slider aquatic turtles. Both of these turtles have been picky eaters, as turtles go. I tried a few different types of food from PetSmart in an effort to find the perfect one. After trying other floating pellets, I bought a reasonably priced but large bottle of Tetra Reptomin Floating Food Sticks. The sticks were somewhat long, but I solved that by breaking them in half. My larger turtle had no problem with the original size sticks, and ate them quickly. My smaller turtle also enjoyed the smaller sticks.

These floated just until they were soggy. My turtles loved chasing these around the tank before gobbling them up one by one. I do wish these did not break apart after becoming soggy, but that is the nature of all floating pellets or sticks. Overall, these are a great value, have good nutritional content, and my turtles did not grow tired of them after eating them a few times. Great to use in additional to edible plants and feeder fish.
