Terra blue chips have become popular due to them being the chip of choice by Jet blue airlines. It was where I was first introduced to the brand. On every flight you receive a free bag along with your soft drink. I usually ask for a few extra bags to take home as the kids love them and think there so cool because there blue. Its a brand that I trust, they make other interesting chips as well including a diverse bag that includes chips from all kinds of different vegetables. The blue chips taste good, they taste like a denser potato chip, them being blue does not affect the flavor at all. They are moderately salty and have a light flavor. I believe they are deceptive though as they are supposed to be healthier for you than other chips but contain just about the same amount of calories if not more than other big name chips. I don't know where to get these besides on the airplane i've never seen them in stores but if you do find them, give them a try !

I remember the very first time I tried these chips. I was on a JetBlue airplane on my way to Florida. I had never even seen them before. As the stewardess was making her snack rounds I chose these because they were the best of what was available and, I was honestly curious. These chips are so tasty. They are made with a special oil and you can actually taste it in the chip. They are lightly salted but, the actual bulk of the flavor comes directly from the chips. They are somehow very light and airy in taste. They are not weighed down by oil they contain. They are made from blue potatoes, they are not blue as a result of added dyes or fillers. I say that because I didn't know that when I initially tried them. They don't need dip or anything added to them. They stand their airy yet crisp ground very boldly. They make a wonderful statement about blue potatoes. I am limited to enjoying these only when I am flying on a plane because they are not available where I currently shop. I would definitely purchase them if they became available at some point.

Lots of people love these chips. I am not one of them. I don't really understand what these things are made of or why people love them so much, but I personally think they taste like dirt. These are VERY expensive chips. Dirt taste and expensive.. No thanks.

These chips look so good. They seem so new and innovative that they have to be good, right? I have had the sweet potato and beet chips from this brand and those were amazing, so these have to be good, right? Well, they are okay. They go stale quickly and the taste is nothing special.

These potato chips are the best ever to come in a grocery store.  They have a slightly sweeter taste than your regular yellow chip, and that is only because the blue potatoes used to make them are slightly sweeter.  If you have the chance, try some baked blue or purple potatoes.  You will love it.  I also love the unusual color.  A deep natural blue.  They also don't over-salt these chips.  They add just enough to complement the sweetness of the blue potatoes.  They are magnificent.  If you can afford to spend the extra, I encourage you to do so.  You will not be disappointed!

The first time I tried these I immediately fell in love with these chips. Blue-purple in color, and possessed of a texture that must be experienced to be fully comprehended. They have a slightly nutty taste, but that doesn't say it all - the flavor is so outstanding, that I defy anyone to limit themselves to one or two "servings" of Terra Blues. One complaint, though. Recently, I've noticed that the bags have much smaller chips than when I first tried them. Still delicious, but definitely smaller. For shame, Terra !!!
