superior effects and depiction of future technology
solid action
the human issues which give the story depth

Better than T3 to be certain

Terminator Salvation is action packed, filled with tense drama, and some incredible effects. Too bad it ultimately feels somewhat hollow. All me to explain. I liked Terminator Salvation. I enjoyed it much more than the disasterous T3. I thought Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, and Anton Yelchin all delivered performances that really made the movie soar. That said, it felt like ground that we have tread upon in better films. It felt like the producers found the director they could find as the lowest bidder and went with him. I've been waiting for this movie for a while, what with the awesome trailer, my interest in the franchise as a whole, the announcement of Christian Bale as John Connor and the fact that they brought in so many talented writers to help make it.
