I got my Tempurpedic Mattress  nine months ago. It replaced the waterbed which we had slept on for 30 years.  I never thought I could give up my waterbed because sleeping on a waterbed is so comfortable . But, after hearing all the rave reviews on Tempurpedic mattresses we decided to give buy one and give it a try. I have chronic lower back pain, so having a good mattress which supports all parts of my body is very important to me, for a good night's sleep.  I did a lot of on-line research on Tempurpedic mattresses before we finally  made the decision to make the purchase.

I bought my Tempurpedic King Size Mattress about four years ago.  I love it, but it does have drawbacks too.  I have a bad back and I really notice the difference when I sleep on the Temperpedic Mattress or somewhere else - it conforms to my body and is very comfortable.  Since I have a platform-style bed I only have the mattress, not the box spring.  I really like that it keeps me warm in the Winter, but in the Summer I sometimes wake up very hot since this mattress really heats up.  On the down side, this mattress is Very Heavy and it is nearly impossible to remove the cover for washing. ...

Ive owned several Beds in the past lets say 4 years. And this is by far this tempurpedic mattress is one of the most comfortable ones. Very soft and enjoyable. Sometimes its very firm. But after a hard day of work it is ver comfortable and you just sink right into it. It looks very nice to. You can put a bed sheet on it or just leave it the way it is. I owned this very expensive mattress after sleeping in very uncomfortable box spring mattresses for 2 years and this mattress is very hard and non comforming if it is cold in the room, once you are asleep it sucks your body heat to soften up and returns it to you, I woke up feeling like I was in an oven.  It was completely intolerable if another person was in the bed with me.  I spent a number of nights sleeping on the couch.  It also hurt my back.  I never suffered back pain until having this mattress.  It is very heavy so moving it is like moving a dead whale.  I would recommend trying...

I must say I was a bit skeptic on the whole tempurpedic mattress advertisements I had seen and had a hard time believing that a mattress could make such a diffrence.

Then I went out mattress shopping and I must have laid on at least 100 different mattresses some were too hard, some too soft, some just felt miserable.

Then I went to a mattress store that was an actual dealer of tempurpedic mattresses as well as the other major brands like Serta, Posturpedic etc... and the salesman started me out on the lower end mattresses that I had seen an ad for and wanted to see the too good to be true special....

We received our Tempurpedic mattress about a month ago and were instantly stunned by the bad smell; however, within 2-3 weeks, the smell went away. It will fill your entire house at first. Our sales lady recommended putting a sliced apple in a bowl under the bed to help get rid of the smell more quickly. I'm not sure if that helped or not.

My husband and I absolutely love this mattress. We both suffer from severe back pain and this mattress was the best product we have ever invested in. I also suffer from bad hips and the Tempurpedic Mattress cradles my body and releaves me of alot of pain and helps me to sleep through the night and wake up refreshed. The Tempurpedic Mattress is extremely comfortable. It puts me to sleep every night in seconds and keeps me asleep all night. I have never woken up with a back ache or any other problems. It is very very supportive and it is great for the lower back. I love how it is firm but since it is a pillowtop it is soft and comfortable at the same time.
