Tempurpedic Tempurdedic mattress Review

We purchased our Tempurpedic about 18 months ago. As promised you cannot feel the other person as they toss and turn. This feature is great. The mattress is fairly comfortable as it does deliver the promised support to every point of the body. In actuality the mattress is a special foam that uses body heat to soften and conform to the body. While this is great, as the night goes on the matress gets warmer and warmer. Summer, winter spring or fall - it does not matter - the matress gets too hot during the middle of the night. Many nights we wake up sweating in the middle of the night. We have tried sleeping with a sheet only as a cover as well as covering the matress itlsef. Although this is not recommended by the manufactorer we thought it might not take on as much heat if there was a barrier other than the sheet between us and the mattress. We were wrong - still heated up unbearably. We are once again mattress shopping.
