Most HelpfulI have suffered with back pain from a herniated disc for years. My back pain began getting worse and I realized I needed to purchase a new mattress. After much researching and trying out several different brands and types of mattresses, I selected the Tempur-pedic DeluxeBed.
This bed is great...

Most HelpfulJust bought a tempurpedic deluxe bed 6 months ago after doing research on line about the quality and comfort of this bed. We went to a couple of stores and laid on it for a few minutes and thought it felt good (especially the way it felt next to other tempurpedic beds except the top of the line bed which...

I finally broke down and purchased what I thought would be the ultimate mattress: A tempurpedic deluxe Queen. The bed itself omits this horrible chemical odor and the pillows smell even worse. Within a few minutes of the bed's delivery I developed a headache! I was told by the sales rep that the noxious odor would vanish after airing out the mattress for a few hours. I left the mattress unclothed with multiple fans operating and plenty of fresh ventilation. I repeated this process for a few days each time I left the apartment. Still the odor, the headaches. The mattress didn't stink in the...

I paid a whopping $2400 including tax and delivery for my King size tempurpedic mattress and foundation 7 years ago. It took a few nights to get used to, then I started loving it. It was comfortable, supportive and I didn't have any issues with it being too warm.
About a year later I started to sense it was sagging. Now 7 years of ownership has it sagging BIG TIME. I have to crawl out of a hole to get out of my bed. Times are tough so I don't have the cash to buy a new mattress. I called Tempurpedic and their customer service is HORRIBLE. They only cover sagging when you're...

I have always loved going to bed. Even when I was small. Settling into a bed, with lovely sheets, a warm blanket and a dark, cool, room is heaven to me.
While house sitting I was introduced to the Tempurpedic mattress. I did not want to return home. This mattress is supportive, warm, comfortable and is supportive of every style of sleeping (back, side, tummy).
The material feels a bit odd, my movers compared it to moving a bed ridden old man (I did not want to know). But once you have slept on this mattress you are spoiled for any other sleeping experience. You wake without pain, refreshed and...

I purchased the Deluxe Eastern King Tempurpedic mattress. For about the two weeks I would wake up with a back ache. I thought--oh know!-- I picked the wrong firmness. I should have got a softer one! So I called the store where I bought it and they insisted I sleep on it for a full 30 days before I exchanged it. Buy the end of the 30 days I was a happy camper. My body adjusted and the mattress had been slept on enough to soften up.
Now when I have guests come over, I inflate my Aerobed in the living room and I give them the opportunity to sleep on my Tempurpedic. In the morning they are full...
read full review »My husband and I spent years on a waterbed, but decided that as our backs entered middle age it was time to upgrade. We'd heard much about the tempurpedic and had sampled the mattress at our local Brookstone's store. It seemed heavenly there, but we were quite intimidated by the price.
We visited a furniture store, tried the mattresses, and came to the decision that if we were spending a good part of our lives in bed, we needed the best. That best was the temperpedic deluxe mattress. We took the plunge! We're glad we did. How we sleep at night determines how rested we will feel...

I was very suspicious of the claims made by Tempurpedic and chalked it up to yet another gimmick. As my pain grew worse and my mattress needed to be replaced I figured it wouldn't hurt to look at one while I was at the mattress store. The Sleepy's I bought it from had a 90 day return policy for the Tempurpedic and after much deliberation I figured I had nothing to lose. I am the sort of person that would have absolutely...

I travel and have slept in a lot of nice hotels with different beds. When I found this bed and tried it. I bought it. It supports your body, you feel like it cradles you. Give the support my back needs to be comfortable. This bed is warm-it radiates the body heat, great for winter not so great for summer. I wake up feeling rested and ready to go. In stead of taking an hour to loosen up and taking medication to get comfortable to get going.
It has worn very well. I bought the cover for dust mites and moisture. The sheets stay on the bed even when I use the adjustable bed...

The bed is very comfortable and allows you to roll around more than a standard tempur mattress as it is slightly softer. It is extremely heavy and for this reason it is important to have a bed with five legs, where one is in the middle of the bed, to support the middle of the mattress and prevent any sagging. I did have a bad back before I bought this mattress however this mattress allows you to fully relax in bed and now all my back pain has gone. After four years of use it hasn't sagged but it does seem to be slightly softer where the...
read full review »The first few weeks of sleeping on the tempurpedic deluxe matress I could not get up in the morning. Best night of sleep I had in a long time. You don't move at night. If you are really heavy (250+) I would recommend this mattress but if you can afford it I would save your pennies and get one of tempurpedics higher priced mattresses with a little more cushioning.
I was worried about heat of foam matress. My old matress (which was not foam) would retain heat and I waould have to sit up in the middle of the night and wait for it to cool down. This matress retains less heat than my...
