I have suffered with back pain from a herniated disc for years. My back pain began getting worse and I realized I needed to purchase a new mattress. Taking my bed to ends of the earth!

We purchased a Temperpedic 2 years ago - I have had chronic neck pain even after surgery, and lumbar and low back pain for which I treated with a chiro for many many years. I have bee to the chiro 3 times since I purchased the bed and that was the first 6 months - Also, it took me about 3 months to adjust to the bed, but since then I have virtually no problems with my back. I am moving to the South Pacific soon and am trying to figure out if the moisture will affect the mattress and boxspring. But I love it so much I will pay whatever shipping cost. Expensive but SO worth it!

I suffer from an auto-immune disease that causes my body great pain at times. I had a very high end Stern's and Foster mattress for many years and had always bought Stern's and Foster. — I was very suspicious of the claims made by Tempurpedic and chalked it up to yet another gimmick. Just bought a tempurpedic deluxe bed 6 months ago after doing research on line about the quality and comfort of this bed. We went to a couple of stores and laid on it for a few minutes and thought it felt good (especially the way it felt next to other tempurpedic beds except the top of the line bed which retailed around $7000.) so it was the best of the tempurpedics to us. I travel and have slept in a lot of nice hotels with different beds. When I found this bed and tried it. I bought it. It supports your body, you feel like it cradles you. Give the support my back needs to be comfortable. This bed is warm-it radiates the body heat, great for winter not so great for summer. I wake up feeling rested and ready to go. My husband and I purchased the a queen size Deluxe version of the Tempurpedic Bed a couple of months ago. At first I was wondering if we made a mistake because it was not as comfortable as I experienced on the model in the store. But after a month sleeping on it as was suggested from the sales people I grew to love it. When you first purchase it though there is a unique smell that lasts for a couple of weeks. This bed is the GREATEST! I have been through many mattress's because of my back. I buy one and then in less than 3 months I'm back to hurting from sleeping on a Brand Name Mattress until I got to try this one and it was like God was watching over me and this was the last one to try! You'll get the best sleep ever

While recovering from major surgery I was fortunate enough to spend several weeks with my sister and brother-in-law who gave me their fantastic Tempurpedic bed. They have the two twins that make a king size with dual controls for raising and lowering the head and foot with the massage feature. I have never had a more comfortable night's sleep. molds nicely to your body but a liitle too firm for side sleep

This mattress is expensive. It molds nicely to your body especially if you sleep flat on your back. For side sleepers it is not so comfortable because it is not deep enough to mold to the curees of the body. So if you sleep on your side, it can seem very hard and unyielding: much less comfortable than a less pricey pillow top.
