I have suffered with back pain from a herniated disc for years. My back pain began getting worse and I realized I needed to purchase a new mattress. After much researching and trying out several different brands and types of mattresses, I selected the Tempur-pedic DeluxeBed.

This bed is great for so many reasons. I no longer spend time trying to find a comfortable position. Once you lie down, you're comfortable! I still have some back pain, of course, but I have noticed a significant improvement on how I feel when I wake up in the morning. I have also noticed that I sleep more soundly at night.

You can get in and out of bed without disturbing your sleeping partner, too. Or more importantly, they won't be disturbing you!

I highly recommend this mattress to anyone who is in the market for a new bed. It is on the expensive side, but it also comes with a 20 year warranty IF you purchase the box springs, too.

Supposedly, dust mites cannot penetrate the material, so it is good for people with allergies. This mattress is not suppose to get wet, so make sure you purchase a waterproof mattress cover to protect it. (It does not affect the comfort or support factor and does not have to be the Tempur-pedic brand.)

The Tempur-pedic line of mattresses are rather expensive compared to other types of mattresses, but it is well worth the price. Temper-pedics are also "fair trade" items. That means no matter where you buy it from, it is the same price. However, it still pays to shop around. You can get free delivery, old mattress pick-up/disposal, free pillows and/or interest free financing depending on where you purchase it from.

Regardless of where you decide to buy a Tempur-pedic, it comes with a 90 day return policy if you're not satisfied. (Although you may charged for return shipping.)

I highly recommend this mattress to everyone, especially if you have any physical ailments.

I also thought that the Deluxe model was the best buy and most comfortable. It was harder than the display models, but not a terrible difference. Is it possible they delivered the wrong model? When I purchased my Tempur-pedic a year ago, I questioned the model I received, too. But that's only because it didn't say Deluxe anywhere on it. Maybe the Deluxe isn't as soft as you need it to be. Maybe you want to upgrade (I know - very expensive). I don't remember the names of all the models, but it seemed the more expensive they got, the softer they were. I certainly would not want to sleep on a bed that made me sore. I think it took me a few days to get used to the mattress, but since then it has always been comfortable and I won't let my kid jump on the bed! I would say that if you have had it at least a week and you are not satisfied or comfortable, return or exchange it. I believe that Tempur-pedic offers a 90-day trial period on all their mattresses. Sleeping comfortably is so very important and if you spent thousands of dollars on a mattress, you should be very happy with it. Let me know how the situation it turns out. Good luck.

i recently purchased the deluxe, ca king tempurpedic over the celebrity model because it felt much softer in store and i was told it was the softest. however once mine was delivered it turned out to be a totally different bed, it was so hard and stiff, after 2 nights of sleeping on it my body ached all over, felt like i had been beaten with bats and ran over by a train, i called the store next day to pick it up, complained that it felt nothing like display models, i even went to three additional stores to test out theres, all were super plush and soft, your body just melts, the store i purchased from told me there is a break in period, let my kids jump all over it and give it some time, i have chronic back pain, i didnt spend 3000 dollars on this bed to continue sleeping in agony, did you find this with your deluxe?
