I always had trouble with my back but since buying a Tempur-pedic mattress, my lower back problems have significantly improved. I recommend this mattress to anyone. I also have talked to other friends who own one, and they all say how great it is compared to a regular mattress. Another great feature is that the bed doesn't move if anyone else gets in the bed which results in a better nights sleep. The only downside I have found is that it is extremely heavy and because it doesn't have a rigid frame, it is difficult to move even for two to three people. It's not a good mattress to have if you move a lot. Other than that, I think it is worth owning.
