be prepared to sell your first-born, expensive, HEAVY, This is a major investment, Takes awhile to get used to it, hard to move by yourself

I am a serious insomniac, I used to think it was because of the pressures of the workplace, but then I retired, had no big worries and still up all night, in addition to being a chronic insomniac, I also suffer from serious back pain, also chronic so...I was convinced that part of the problem was the standard mattress that I slept on and really wanted a Tempupedic mattress. Unlike my usual impulsive self, I did a lot of research, on line and also visited numerous bedding stores, what I found out was amazing! Tempurpedic is just another brand name, if you compare the very expensive Tempurpedic to the Sears-O-Pedic or in my particular case a local funiture store called Bob's Discount hence a Bob-O-Pedic you are buying the same mattress, all made by the same company and much cheaper than the Tempurpedic brand. Do your own search and I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised. I saved 60% and am absolutely delighted with my purchase. If you don't believe me (and why should you) try it for yourself! And long-windedly back to my original problem, although I still have insomnia on occasion, my back is 100% better after a good night's sleep and the insomnia has decreased. Give it a try before you spend $2,000.00 for the brand name

I bought a 'Therma-pedic' by Bentley, and it is an absolute terror for sleeping two people. We sink too far into mattress and roll to the middle. The original Tempur-Pedic (firm) doesn't sink very much and is a much better sleep. So watch out for what you're buying. We found the TempurPedic 'on sale' at less than half it's original cost, so got it for the same price that we could have bought a nice "Sealy, or Simmons.''
