I had watched the commercial for years and had even sent away for the sample, but I never realized what an amazing product it was until I had a chance to sleep just one night on one in a hotel. Normally it would take 30 minutes or more for me to fall asleep - I spent that much time trying to find just the right spot in my bed to be comfortable. However, within in minutes of laying on the Tempurpedic I was asleep - and that has been the case every night for the past 4 years. I also find that I tend to wake up in the position that I originally fell asleep in, indicating that I am not tossing and turning.
I am on my second Tempurpedic pillow and realizing the life span is about 18 months, which is a bit of a down side as they are priced at just under $100 each. Another point that I would consider a bit of a down side is something I learned after getting married - the mattress does tend to hold onto odors. Fabreez once a month seems to do the trick, but you will know if you have waited too long.
