Tempurpedic Bella Sonna Mattress Review

We originally purchased the Grand Bed.  However, we felt it was a bit too "soft".  We called Tempur-Pedic and exchanged it for the Bella Sonna.  They charged us $150.00 to do the exchange, but we felt it was a small price, as the total cost of the Grand Bed came to $10,000.  The Bella Sonna is much more to our liking.  Very firm and totally comfortable.  We purchased the California King size and it was the best decision.  We also purchased the Grand pillows ($400.00 each), and we love them.  When people come over, we tell them to lay on the bed for 10 minutes to try it out.  Ten minutes later, they are asleep!  I love the 14 inch mattress height, as the California King size sheets fit perfectly on them (9 inch California King mattresses are harder to fit with sheets, as the fitted sheet it always too loose).  This was absolutely the best money ever spent on a mattress.  We purchased on-line but went to Raymour & Flanagan to try them out before we purchased it.  Also, the salespeople at Tempur-Pedic are extremely knowledgeable and can really be a huge help in picking out the perfect mattress for you. Keep in mind that if you purchase the California King size, you need to have a huge bedroom, as the mattress it 74 x 84.  The height will also make a huge difference in terms of room space, as the total height of our bed is 31 inches from the floor to top of mattress.  When purchasing this size, also keep in mind that sheets and bedspreads will be a huge cost.  We purchased as set from Tempur-pedic which cost $400.00.  We recently purchased a bedspread which was close to $2,000.00.   We still believe the total cost is well worth it.  This bed is a total joy (for much more than sleeping in, as well)!   Dana Vigilante
