My husband and I both are bothered with lower back pain. My husband has also had neck surgery. So when the time came to buy a mattress, we actually were interested in what we had seen in the TV ads about the Tempurpedic mattresses. I hate a hard mattress, even if it is suppose to be better for your back. We decided to find a happy medium, and proceeded to the closest retailer for the Tempurpedic's. I to my surprise had to choose which types we wanted. I became the Mother bear...the softer the mattress the more time I spent on the mattress in the showroom. We finally decided on a mattress that was a little firmer, but we got the adjustable bed.
The first night on the bed, my husband was the little boy with a new toy and played with the adjustments and massage feature. I could not sleep. I was scared had we made a mistake, but the minute the massage finished(30 minute timer) I was gone. I slept just like the commercial said without much moving. We got 2 of the Tempurpedic pillows and I ended up giving one to my son it is just too firm for my neck and head area.
The only complaint about the Tempurpedic is I wish I could find a way to keep my side cooler. With the heat our bodies put off....I come from the covers year round. I do enjoy the mattress more than any mattress I have slept on. I'm glad to say that the investment in this mattress is definitely worth it.
