Tempur-Pedic The ComfortPillow Review

Ugh. It's like sleeping on cement.

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE my Tempur-Pedic bed. It's one of my best purchases, ever, and if I were reviewing the Tempur-Pedic bed I'd give it five stars and then some.  I've never slept on anything as comfortable as that weird foam matress.

But the pillow leaves a lot to be desired. Our local mattress store gave us the pillow, "A $90 value!", as a bonus for purchasing the mattress set. All well and good. I like a large pillow as I tend to have trouble breathing at night, and raising my head helps. I also love to read late into the night, and nothing beats a big pile of solid pillows to raise your head high enough to easily read a good mystery novel. But my husband, also searching for a new and better pillow, snatched the Tempur-Pedic and first tried it. After using it one night, he threw it into the closet.  "It's just awful," he said.

 I have to agree. I've since slept on the Tempur-Pedic pillow several times, and each time awoke feeling tired, cranky, and sore.  I feel as if I have a permanent neck crick. The booklet promised that the space-age foam would support my head, neck and spine, but I feel as if I've been put through the wringer every time I've used the pillow.

In short, I adore my Tempur-Pedic mattress and think it's a great mattress. I would never buy this pillow nor recommend it to a friend.
