Uniden - Dect 6.0 digital answering system
I love this Uniden phone because I can tell when someone else is on the other line while I am using the phone. I also can check messages form anywhere because I jsut have to dial a number. I love being able to put people on speaker if i need my hands to do dishes or something. I also love that They don't have an annoying cord to get in the way. It does mean I have to make sure I charge my phones all the time, but it is so worth it! I like that I can adjust the volume of the ring so that it isn't too loud in the mornings. We bought this phone several years ago because it had all the features we wanted and it was priced reasonably. Setting up the answering machine and hand phone was not difficult although there are some very technical functions that we determined we don't need.
I suggest that you take into consideration that even though the phone is not difficult to set up it is time consuming; the person working on the phone project needs to be patient.

i like my go phone because if i run short on money i can pay the bill in advance whenever its convienant. i like the low cost phone as if it gets damaged i can get a new one for $15-$20. there is no early termination fee so i like that. i dislike that i get charged to check voice mails. i dislike that i seem to get the error code often smart chip failure. i liek the fact i can choose my plan and options and amount to spend each month,. i dont liek they offerred a bonus upon signup and terminated the offer recently. i like the $60 and $99 unlimited plans but i dont know the difference. it iss harder...

This phone has out performed other phones we have had in the past, and we are hard on phones in our house. The reception is really good, sound quality too. It is easy to use, easy to read, and just plain durable. The recording is of a very good quality and the battery seems to stay charged for a very long time. This is important because we keep it off the charger for days and it keeps it's charge. I also am fond of the handset locator feature as we need to find the handset at least a couple times a day. I love the Magic Jack. As long as you have a computer, and an internet plan, you can use the Magic Jack. Once you buy it, it only costs you $20.00 a YEAR to have phone service!!! That is ALL long distance, unlimited minutes, etc. Who doesn't want a phone plan that is so inexpensive and easy to use? I highly recommend it to anyone, and especially to those who are travelling in RV's, etc. You can take your phone and phone # with you anywhere you go!

Apple's iphone for att is the easiest most functional phone. I have tried other cell phones that are in the same category and were not as easy to just turn on and start using. My phone has great sound, I have soft , medium , or loud ringers. I like to know who's calling me and the caller I.D is just perfect for me. If I don't want to answer I shut it off.
It doesn't skip calls, and when a call comes through, I can click over with out losing my 1st call. I love the enhanced numbers, they are nice and big. I can use the volume switch to turn it up or down, to hear my caller. Plus the mute button, works well in back.

my fiiance's family lives in canada and with magicjack you can call all of the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands for FREE the first year, and just 19.95 a year thereafter!
one problem is that your computer must be on at all times and also occasionally the reception sometimes has blips and bleeps, but a callback usually fixes it.
another is that your phone won't show caller I.D....Instead a pop-up comes on your computer showing the call in progress. It is annoying as you have to close it everytime.

The best thing about this phone system is that it has two phones. Beyond that I can't wait to get a new system. You can't find the phone and when you press the finder it only rings on one phone so the finder is of absolutely no use.
If you happen to be multi-tasking, and try to rest the phone on your chin--forget the call-- it has now been sent to the other phone. Now you start playing with the buttons and you toally lose the call.
The redial is there for looks. Every time I have tried it a voice from heaven tells me I have to dial my call again. What's the purpose of redial if not to REDIAL!
