The Panasonic-GigaRange KX-TG5631S digital phone is the best one I ever owned. I wore it out!!!!! I tried to find the same one on amazon to replace it but they were no longer in stock and I needed a new one as the buttons were getting hard to push. It lasted a very long time though and was well worth the money. — The quality is great, exceptionally good. — So I replaced it with the Panasonic KX-TGA4308. i EXPECTED A BIT MORE FROM THESE HANDSETS. I thought that the range would be better than the previous handset that I had, since these were 5.8 ghz and my previous was only a 2.4 I hear lots of static and I am only 20 ft away from main base. The GE 5.8 GHz Phone/Answerer has a unique feature built in I've never seen in a product before,and is very useful when you have teenagers.That feature is multiple mailboxes. My husband and I get our messages,and our kids get theirs. No accidental erasures. Lots of memory, and it came with three handsets. Very handy. The only drawback is the ring volume.Even when turned up on high(level 4), it can be a little hard to hear if you're not in a room with one of the phones.Another great idea is the "Do Not Disturb" feature. Have never been truly satisfied with this phone. Sound is poor, never can get it loud enough, usually end up putting people on speakerphone so that I can hear them, hate doing that. Also unable to cradle the phone on my neck while talking, always seem to disconnect due to the placement of the on/off button. I gave up on Uniden when these phones were outperformed.

I purchased the twin line Uniden cordless phone bundle about a year ago. I finally just sold them in a garage sale. — I had many problems with this phone model. It came with two phones, one that plugged directly into my broadband modem and the other that didn't require direct access to the phone line. I received very poor reception on both phones, having to sit completely still while on them or I couldn't tell what the other person was saying through the static. I love this phone system. It works wonderfully and is so easy to use. I can walk outside and it doesn't quit. I can even drive halfway down my street before I lose the base signal. I just can't say enough about this wonderful product. I even like the blue light that it lights up when you are getting a call. I've only seen this on the Jetsons... I couldnt believe I was seeing friend from Canada through this phone. — I even hooked up the A/V jack to my plasma and we were literally talking to our TV's. — Just make sure you have at least 3.0Mpbs of speed or your video will be choppy. And if you're lighting is dark.. you'll be dark to the other party. — I even took this phone to a hotel in Italy, hooked up my phone to the internet and I was able to make a call back to the US. Had to return a few cordless phones because they had no range. 1 went dead as soon as I stepped out the door, another went out in the yard (and I have a big yard!) This Uniden works, can go long ranges and never loses frequency! This model came with 1 corded base unit phone, so if the power goes out you still have a dial tone--a plus. Also came with 1 cordless unit, which requires no phone jack, just an electrical outlet--easier. The cordless units are expandable, up to 5 or so phones, sold seperately. You get what you pay for. This is a cheap unit, for short term use. I had a base unit and 4 satellite handsets. Every single one of the handsets developed contact buttons that stopped working within 6 months of purchase. The warrenty replacement units did the same thing. I would never suggest anyone buy this product.
