Leo The Knight Proves Chivalry Isn't Dead
Years ago the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were all the rage. The revamped line of figures released in 2013 is a nice take on the various characters from the past as well as some new additions. "Leo The Knight" is better known as Leonardo but this version has him in a makeshift knight outfit. The bucket style helmet does hide most of his face but you can see his eyes through the holes; while it may look like they light up or that they are illuminated they are not. It is the color used for the eyes (blue) contrasting with the color of the helmet (gray). Leo has the usual points of articulation (arms and legs) and the accessory pieces can be removed and used on other figures in the series. That really increases the replay value of a toy like this because there are unlimited ways that you can customize the characters or create completely new ones. This is a battery-free toy that's powered by imagination and again, having the ability to change the overall look (weapons, clothing, accessories) means that kids are going to have more fun with it. Leo is a little nicer than some of the others in the series because his feet are flat which reduces the chance of him falling over if a table is bumped or he makes contact with another figure.
