Tazewell Township Park - East Peoria, IL —

If you have never been to the East Peoria park of lights then you are missing out. It only cost $10.00 per car load. It doesn't matter how many people are in your car. I mean you can actually stuff people in the trunk of your car and they won't say anything...lol j/k Don't do that. As soon as you arrive into the park you need to put your radio on the radio station that tells you about the lights and they make it very festive with the music. The children of all ages will enjoy this. It only takes about 30 mins to go through it.

Just imagine being a little kid and seeing dinosaurs moving, or a big whale moving his tail back and forth out of the water. There is raindeers jumping over the cars and skiers skying and jumping over hills and cars. The bigest one of all is the train. I do believe that they said that it is over 120 ft long and has over 90,000 lights. The park of lights also has the Budweiser horses and cart.

I just am amazed on how people can make things like that out of wires and light. It is great for the kids to use their imagination.

Just make sure that you take your camera so that you can take pictures or record. I thought that I was recording the lights and 15 mins later I realize that I wasn't recording...lol

Just take your time and enjoy.

Great for a night out with the kids and you don't have much money or just want to do something different.

thank you for welcome hospitality. I am sorry for the misspelling of some words...lol It is hard when you have a 2 year old sitting on your lap all of the time. Hope you have a great Holiday. shannon
