I guess I got a bad egg.

I definitely did not have the experience that other users had. It worked for 3 months tops, and it was inaccurate most of the time. It says the capacity is 300lbs. After giving up on my diet a year or two ago, I gained 50lbs making myself 250lbs. I recently decided to get back on the bandwagon and when I stepped on the scale it read "batt". I asked my mother to step on the scale afterwards and it worked for her (she's 190-200lbs). I may be close to the max capacity, but 50lbs is also a very big difference and it should have been able to handle my weight. It was very disheartening. Even if it truly did need new batteries, the battery shouldn't die after only a year or two with minimal use. I'm not even going to bother replacing the battery, might as well buy a new scale. Design The design is quite nice -- it's lightweight (2lbs), slim, and easy to store. Accuracy When I started my diet 2-3 years ago I knew I weighed 215, scale told me anywhere from 205-220. I know my weight didn't fluctuate THAT much (I would weigh myself every morning). 5-10 pounds is a big difference!

Very accurate

I am in the process of trying to lose weight but it was hard to tell on my old scale if I was truly losing weight or not. I bought this one to replace my older outdated scale and could not be more pleased! It is very lightweight and compact making it very easy to store. In addition the scale is very accurate. Sometimes that isn't a good thing when I cheat on my diet the scale tells on me! However, it is good to know that when I weigh myself I am getting a very accurate number and it helps me stay on track. I would recommend this to anyone looking to lose weight and wanting reliable numbers. Performance This is a very accurate scale! Compares to the accuracy of the weight scale at my doctor's office. Durability very durable and lightweight. Design Love that it is lightweight and compact enough to hide from sight when not using it. Ease of Use pretty simple to use. Stand on it and pray the numbers are what you hope they are! Accuracy I am simply amazed at how accurate this scale is! Very pleased with this product.

Accurate Scale!

This scale is very easy to use & store. We keep ours under our bed for easy access to weigh in first thing in the morning. The display is bright & the numbers are big enough to see. Performance The scale is accurate and even going to the doctors office it is the same weigh on both scales. This is great b/c most home scales have a 5 to 10 pound difference. Durability We have had this scale for 5yrs with no problem. Just needs the battery changes every few months. My kids have dropped the scale several times & it has not broken. Design Simple design and easy to read.

Great for Basics!

This scale is great for exactly what it is supposed to be. It is inexpensive and accurately measures weight. I use it daily and have through my entire weight loss journey. It doesn't seem like the most durable scale out there and it doesn't have multiple settings or anything like that, but if you're just looking to weigh yourself I highly recommend it.

Decent scale for the price

This slim scale is attractive looking, with a shiny chrome edging and a non-slip textured black surface. The large display is easy to read, even without my glasses. Unfortunately, it is inconsistent. While the numbers do't vary too much, if I step on the scale three times in the space of a minute or so, I might get three different weights, varying by up to half a pound. Accurate enough to give me a general idea if my weight is moving in a general direction or holding steady, but not precise enough for really accurate measurements.

Taylor Electronic Lithium Scale #save your money

2

I have been using an analog scale for years and it has got the job done, but I decided I wanted to know my weight to the exact decimal. So I decided on getting a digital scale. I looked at a couple reviews and different prices and made my decision. I got the Taylor Electronic Lithium Scale. All I can for this scale is you get what you pay for. All I wanted was a simple digital scale that could read my weight within a +/- half a pound and sadly it didn't come close. It took several attempts just to get the scale to register me stepping on it and when it did it would give a different reading each time. The readings would range from 5-60 pounds in difference just minutes after weighing myself. If any one is thinking about buying this scale I suggest you save your money and buy the most accurate affordable scale in your price range.

This scale works perfectly and has never not worked for us. we only had to set it once and the battery only had to be replaced once in two years. we accidentily dropped it once and it still worked after all we've put it through. the weight is usually accurate

quality scale

First this scale is accurate and measures to the tenth of a pound. i.e. 179.4 lbs. Second it reads the same weight every time you use it, accurate! Yes it does need to be "recalibrated" when you move it, but all that means is you have to step on it and then step off. No fancy dials, buttons, screwdrivers or such. But to me one of the BEST features is that the scale continues to show the weight for 20 seconds AFTER you step off the scale! Why is this great you ask? Because for two reasons, one for weighing huge pieces of luggage which cover the display, and two for folks whose belly or other body parts stick out and prohibit them from seeing the digital display while they are on the scale. I got it specifically to weigh luggage for an airline flight (darn the airlines for their restrictions) and the human weighing was just a bonus for me.

This was not my favorite scale to say the least I would get on it and weigh one amount turn around and get back on it never even leaving the area and I would gain 3 pounds,I tried this a number of times and oneday on the way to the docors office I decide to check my weight before and after to compair with what the had weigh my in at, I dont know how someone can weigh 143 at home never change a thing or even eat go to the doctors and weigh 150 then weigh then self one more time at home and now weight 152? I feel like I made a bad investment

Taylor Scale is not good

2

The Taylor Electronic Lithium Scale #7009 is not a good product. First of all I usually don't weigh myself except when my doctor insists on it in the office. I don't like looking at those numbers! Anyway, my husband needed to lose some weight and we decided to get a bathroom scale that was not too expensive. We bought this Taylor Electronic Lithium Scale and we are very disappointed. It never tells you your weight the same twice. You can hop on and weigh yourself and then wait 5 minutes and weigh yourself again and you will weigh a different weight. It also seemed like it would be difficult to clean. We would just be keeping this on the bathroom floor and not under a counter. I really did not want to spend a lot of money on something like this. I returned it to the store. We are currently looking at different models to see what we will try next. Hopefully something inexpensive. This is not something that I would recommend but it seems other people had no problems with it.
