My husband bought this guitar for me so I could learn to play chords while he played the mandolin.  At 15/16 size it was a perfect size for my average size female hands.  It plays so easy and sounds so good that you will find it hard to believe that it is a slightly smaller than normal guitar.  I had tried to learn to play the guitar once before without success but this guitar sounds so good and plays so easy that even I could learn to make music.  It was easy to transition to a full size guitar as my playing improved.  Even though I now have a full size Taylor I can not bring myself to get...

The Taylor Big Baby is a great guitar for high quality at a reasonable price. The smaller scale still manages to feel like a full body guitar and the sound is crisp and clear even with slightly used strings. At first I enjoyed the smaller fret board, but sometimes I am playing and have to pick up my standard size guitar to get that open feel. The Baby Taylor feels and plays great. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking at purchasing a high quality guitar and not interested in dropping $600 or so on the instrument.
