One of the best dips around

I have been purchasing Tastefully Simple for years,  what is wrong with me, I buy this product from another consultant......Not any more.  I decided to sell Tastefully Simple, because I can't keep enough of the stuff in my house.  One of my favorites is this Spinach & Herb Dip Mix. I absolutely love this product!!!  It's soooo easy to make, equal parts of sour cream and mayonnaise, add the Tastefully Simple Spinach & Herb Dip Mix  and you're on your way.  I can't keep it in the house.  Again....soooo easy to make.

I really like this company. I always order something from them. And one of my favorites is spinach and herbs dip. I always use it for dips, but I also have added it to salads hot or cold. And it goes real good with pasta.

More Than Just a Dip Mix

When I went to the Tastefully Simple tasting party, there were a wide assortment of items I wanted to buy, but in order to not break the bank, I narrowed it down to just three. One of those winning selections was the Spinach & Herb Dip Mix. It was one of those things I tried where I raised my eyebrow and uttered mmm. Once I received the product and made my own dip with the mix, it was good, but didn't knock my socks off like the first day I tried it. I'm assuming it's because either a) I didn't let the dip sit together long enough to mix the flavors or b) knowing the ingredients was messing with my mind. You simply mix the dip mix with equal parts of sour cream and mayonnaise, but I'm not a mayo fan, so knowing it was in there kind of killed it some for me. The jar of Spinach & Herb Dip Mix sat in my pantry for awhile until I started to experiment with it. One night frying up some potatoes in the electric skillet, I decided to try adding a little of this in. The result wasn't bad, but you could barely notice it was in there, and just didn't seem to add a whole lot. I would have had to add an extreme amount to taste it, and that just wasn't what I was looking for in fried potatoes. The next dish I tried with the dip mix sold me on it. I've been making this as a side dish for years, and adding the spinach and herbs to it just seemed to add to it, yet not take anything away. At least every other week, I take a pound of cooked spaghetti, linguine, etc., and add butter, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. I decided to add some of the Spinach & Herb to it, and it was perfect. Well, almost. I ditched the canned parmesan and added fresh the next time I made it, and I thought I was in heaven. I could go a step further and ditch the parmesan for alfredo sauce, but I'm not sure if I'd live through that tantalizing experience. I'm definitely going to keep buying the Spinach & Herb Dip Mix from Tastefully Simple, and I'm going to keep denying the mayo, while I look for even better things to make with this.
