I expected the Tastefully Simple Cafe Portabella Mushroom Soup and Sauce to be the usual dehydrated mushroom floating in powdered broth mix and it soooo wasn't! A wonderful friend gave me this mix to try. According to the directions on the box, you can make a soup or sauce from the mix. I made the soup. Great Soup!

I am definitely NOT a mushroom fan, yet I really enjoyed this soup! It can be used for many different applications - like stock for Beef casseroles and stews. You won't be disappointed!

I have distributed Tastefully Simple items, and not all are my favorite. I have no problems telling people which ones to use, and which ones can be passed on. I know it is a little expensive compared to Campbells, but it also goes farther (more of it), and it's very easy to prepare! Also, it tastes MUCH less artificial and canny.
