I live in a townhome so I didn't want a gas model with higher maintenance and lots of pressure. I did want something that was easy to use. I'm big on things that are user friendly, intuitive in the way they function (ie exceptional overall design), and low maintenance (ie operational requirements). My comments below: Test #1 - Fence Positives: Tried it first on my plastic fencing. Easy to use. Like the detergent tank. Loose hose with quick disconnect doesn't kink at all. Negatives: Pressure was too little for my fence cleaning job. To get sufficient cleaning pressure had to get so close to the fence that my effective cleaning area was very small. Maybe 1-2 inches. Test #2 - Car Positives: All of the above. Negatives: Pressure too little for removing certain contaminents from car surface. Also the body of the unit itself is too unevenly balanced. The water hose connection at the front keeps it from tipping forward, but the least little bit of unbalancing (ie tugging on the hose) tips it sideways or backwards. This happened frequently as I was trying to work my way around my car. One it's inconvenient having to constantly set it upright. Two I'm concerned about any parts breaking with this repetitive action. Conclusion: I have very high standards for any product I buy. If I can't give it 5 stars, most likely I'll return it.
