The Target brand formula has the exact same ingredients as Similac or Enfamil at almost half the price. We felt like we were providing our child with a top quality product all the while being price conscience. We constantly tell our friends about this product and encourage them to save money and give their child/children the best formula available. My husband compared the Target brand to Enfamil and the ingredients were listed in the same order (which is by the quantity of the ingredient in the product).
The consistency of the formula seemed to be softer than other brands, which made me...
review »As a fairly new grandparent of 2, I have had to get back into the "know" of baby supplies which includes formula. I had to pick up some for our grandson since we have him overnight 2x a month and formula helps supplement mom's breast milk. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Target has their store brand available in 25.75 oz size. It is now called Up & Up brand and has an attractive label. The formula is comparable to Infamil and others but costs significantly less. There have been no problems with digestion or upset stomach and it mixes the same and looks the same.
When I registered at Target, I got a welcome kit and it had a sample pouch of Up & Up Formula. It is kosher certified therefore I decided to give it a try. My daughter loved the taste of this formula. I've been having some spitting issues with the formula I was using before. This also helped a great deal with the spitting. Also, the color of the formula, when mixed with water, is just like breast milk. It is just as nutritous. A larger can of Up&Up formula is cheaper than the other brand I've been using.
