Target Stores Review Summary
Most of our budget and quality conscious reviewers really like Target stores. They say the store is a step up from the Wal-Marts and KMarts of the world yet still affordable. Shoppers liked the large variety of name brands and the range of prices of products that Target stores carry. Some of our reviewers are balking at the rather strict returns policy of Target stores and, while they like their products, they don't like having to fight for a refund or exchange. Check your local Target for their policies before buying something you may need to return and all should be well, say our savvy shoppers.

My wife and end up a Target at least once a week. It could be for cat food, coffee, a birthday card, office supplies, towels, laundry detergent, what-have-you. It is our main one-stop shopping center. The lines are never too long and we usually have no trouble finding what we need or discovering a deal in the dollar section. It is also one of the stores we look for when traveling and need to buy the few things we forgot to pack.

Target is the greatest store on earth! Why you might ask? Because it has everything you could need and it's cool. It's not discount store crappy it's trendy and fun. It is for the budget conscious person who isn't part of the Walmart crowd. I used to have a high paying job in the IT industry and would go to Target every Sunday afternoon shopping and always leave with so many fun things. After losing my job to outsourcing and having to move south I still go to Target every Sunday on a very different budget and still leave with fun things but also food, clothes and other things I need on a daily... review »

Christmas shoppers beware of scrooge and the grinch. They will both be behind the returns counter at Target telling your loved ones they are stuck with a gift they do not want.
Additionally, your gift recipients will be treated like criminals, because if they weren't they'd have a receipt.
Still, I gave gifts last year from Target. The items were sold exclusively at Target, my relatives ask only to exchanged the new and unopenned items and were curtly brushed off.
Needless to say I won't be so friendly either. I will not be doing any shopping with Target this season. I usually don't give receipts...

Our Target store, here in Little Rock, AR. is all I need for shopping. I am a single mom of
4, and I like a great value. Superstores and the mall are super stressful for me.
I am always so pleased with the girls shoe selection and I can buy toilet paper without
stopping at another store.

OMG! This is what happend yall. I'm shopping for a new microwave and there was one advertised on Target.com for $41.24 so I clicked the option to see if it was available in the local store and it was. I traveled to the store and it was in stock on the shelf for $54.99.I went to Guest Services to see what the problem was. Immediatly the salesman said "we don't honor the online prices". I advised him that online it did not state that the price was only valid online. I looked it up online in the store and he said that we could order it online for that price and get it shipped to us. I have always liked Target more than Wal-mart until I had first hand experience with Target's return and exchange policy .... I was not impressed to say in the least and I will not be returning to any Target EVER.
My Grandmother lives in Oregon and sent some Christmas gifts down for the holiday. The shorts she sent were too small and the B-Brats doll she sent was defective. I called her and she told me she purchased them at Target. I love to just go there and look. Their marketing is unreal; from the red and white pop of their decor to their price tags.
I will always be a Target lover - you couldn't change my mind about it if you tried.
If I'm there for pleasure shopping, I usually hit the racks in this order:
