OMG! This is what happend yall. I'm shopping for a new microwave and there was one advertised on Target.com for $41.24 so I clicked the option to see if it was available in the local store and it was. I traveled to the store and it was in stock on the shelf for $54.99.I went to Guest Services to see what the problem was. Immediatly the salesman said "we don't honor the online prices". I advised him that online it did not state that the price was only valid online. I looked it up online in the store and he said that we could order it online for that price and get it shipped to us. Frustrated, I left the store and went to another location thinking it was just poor management even though the store was new and it just opened 3/8/08. I went to the other store and printed the advertisement and went directly to Guest Services and the woman told me that Target.com is a different store and we would have to call an 800 number to see why we could not get it for that price. This makes no sense. I asked for a manager that said that each store is different and offers different prices. That is crazy. The manager stated that they don't price compare. What? This is the same store. Never in my life have I experienced this maddness. How can this be so? Needless to say that was my last trip to Target. I have a Target credit card and came home and cut it up. I will never in my life spent a penny in that store or any affiliate of Target.
I went to Wal-Mart and got the microwave for $38!
