we started our daughter on emfamil and loved it but we really hated paying $25/can. We talked to our pediatrician about store brands and he said they are perfectly safe. The FDA regulates baby formula very strictly, so no worries!

Since we've switched, we haven't noticed any negative changes. We also noticed it seems like it lasts a bit longer. For half the price, we are really happy with it.
