Holiday Cheer that's Easy and Affordable

a busy professional, not into holiday decorations

I am not an avid holiday decorator. I live in a neighborhood full of suburbanites who love to put out the big snowglobes with the faux snow, the lighted Santa brigade and just about everything else you can think of. (And to quote Seinfeld: "Not that there's anything wrong with that.") My neighbor actually does major decorations, with real pumpkins, just for Halloween every year. There's practically a pumpkin nativity scene going on there. But my schedule and interests just don't allow me to decorate my house for any season in a big way.
