AS our daughter starting growing I wanted to find her the perfect bedroom set that she could also use well in to her teen years So I began with this really cute cottage night stand  I ended up buying her 4 as they are perfect for putting her cute lamps on and i put her books underneath   The other two I put around her room so one holds her hamster and the other one holds her plant that grandma gave her   The night stand has a plastic cover on it so the plant does not leak I know they can be scrubbed but i do not know what water would do to the paint job The cottage night stand comes ina very nice white so your child can have any color of room and I felt that white would be a pratical color as our daughter grows so will her taste in room colors I felt white would match anything and I love the fact that you can buy pieces to complete the whole set so your daughter ends up with a very pretty well made bedroom set This night stand is a beautiful white with really pretty wood designs that make it pretty for your daughters room The nightstand has to be put together but everything you need comes with it and so does a very well written set of instructions  With the really good instructions I was able to have all 4 put together in an hour and I stopped for coffee breaks This nightstand is a very great value as it is built well    very durable sturdy and it can with stand scrubbing    as one of our little guys got crayon on it so we tried everything to get it off  I highly recommend cleaning accidents with the original mr clean spong it works great and the furniture looks as good as new  My daughter loves her furniture as it adds charm and ellegance to her room   I highly recommend this to anyone looking for something very practical and sweet for their girls room The other furniture that you can purchase to go with this set is a 9 drrawer dresser  a nice big 9 drawer dresser that comes with a beautiful mirror, a desk with matching ckair, a mirror for your daughters wall. a really nice foot board and headboard  and I even was able to find her those chests so we use one to store her blankets in and one for toys and the third one made a cute hopechess as grandma has already begun getting her an adorable dish set and crystal set for when shes older I do recommend this to friends and family and to other parents My daughter loves it because the white gives her room a really nice crisp clean look
